With the Elder's Reflection you may edit the body in many unique and exciting ways! Editing things like the overall body, fur, traits, and even limbs.
Amputating limbs on a Reosean is possible, but only one limb may be missing at a time. If you replace it with a prosthetic, this is void. You can, then, potentially create a Reosean whose limbs are all missing and they're supporting themselves on prosthetics only. The only creature on which this is not possible is the Tyrian, as it would edit too much of the Reosean. You can, however, replace it with a prosthetic that remains similar to the Tyrian's wing.
Bodily changes are, within reason, allowed. You may make your Reosean skinnier, give them a bit of a fatter belly, give them longer/shorter nails or slightly alter their head structure. Remember that too drastic changes or changes that resemble another body/fur type are not allowed.

You can edit the traits with an Elder's Reflection, but they must remain very, if not extremely similar to the original. On the coverage shown above are the sections shown that will account for an Elder's Reflection. For example, if you edit the front legs and back legs, that will take two Elder's Reflections as those are two separate sections.
Traits can't be duplicated except for Kitsune tail, which can have 5 tails at maximum. When editing traits, the size of the traits should never exceed more than 1.5x the original length. This is to ensure it does not begin looking like another trait, or start crowding the import frame with excessively long tails. Conversely, they cannot be reduced to less than half their original size either. |
When editing expressions, the mouth must always remain open and the tongue/teeth and eye will need to be visible to some extent. The distinguishing “beak” that all Reoseans have can never be edited away, but may be reduced slightly when changing the mouth.
Putting ridges on a Reosean's mouth is not accepted as an allowable edit. Vayrons, specifically, are specific with their 'beak' and shark-like heads. |
Restrictions:
♦ Above all, editing the body and traits should never resemble another body type or trait. Edits in this manner will be denied.
♦ The mane can only be modified by an Elder's Reflection if it is growing directly from the neck, without the distinctive “neck line” present as it will be considered a fur edit and not a mane.In this case it will follow body color rules - not mane color rules. All other manes will require a Vaybelline Shampoo.
♦ Scars can only be added with a Warrior’s Embrace, UNLESS they heavily alter the lineart and require an Elder's Reflection instead (see the Warrior’s Embrace guide for examples).

♦ You can add tufts of fur to lisse Reoseans, but in moderation. They cannot be “fluffy” like Duveteux and Angora Reoseans, and should never be present “inside” the import lines. Below you can find the acceptable locations for where these tufts of fur may be placed. Keep in mind you cannot cover this entire range in fur! This is only the “allowed” areas. |
♦ Beards can be added to all coat types, however in the case of a Duveteux or friese coat, further edits to the fur will need to remain minimal to avoid looking like an Angora coat. ♦ Angora and Duveteux Reoseans may have the fur length on their bodies/chests increased, but only within the range to the right: |
♦ Certain traits can be given “fur” when paired with a coat type that is already “fluffy”, but it should never change the look of the trait entirely. For example: A reptile tail may have some leading fur trails down the back or base from a Duveteux coat, but it will never be entirely coated in fur.
♦ Body edits should never be magical in nature - body parts may not glow or have glitter or give off any magical effects. In some cases this may be possible with an Imbued Crystal, but it will never be possible with an Elder's Reflection.
